Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 1, 2025 · Last Updated: July 1, 2025

Summary: We collect only what we need to run the service. We never sell your data. Session content is end-to-end encrypted — we cannot see your screen. You can delete your account and all data at any time.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly (name, email, payment information), information generated by your use of the service (session metadata, connection logs, device identifiers), and information from third parties (OAuth providers if you sign in with Google or Microsoft).

We do NOT collect, store, or access the content of your remote desktop sessions. All session data is end-to-end encrypted and never touches our servers in an interpretable form.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: provide and improve the Connectesy service; process payments and manage subscriptions; send product updates, security bulletins, and support communications; comply with legal obligations; and detect and prevent fraud or abuse.

3. Data Retention

Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription and 90 days after account closure. Session metadata logs are retained for 30 days on standard plans and up to 1 year on Enterprise plans. Payment information is processed by Stripe and never stored on Connectesy servers.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with: service providers who help us operate the platform (e.g., Stripe for payments, AWS for infrastructure); legal authorities when required by applicable law; and successors in the event of a corporate acquisition (with prior notice to you).

5. International Transfers

Connectesy operates globally. Your data may be processed in the United States and other countries. We use Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission for cross-border transfers of EU personal data.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access your personal data; correct inaccurate data; delete your account and associated data; port your data in a machine-readable format; object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@connectesy.com.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, SOC 2 Type II certified controls, regular penetration testing, and employee security training. Despite these measures, no internet transmission is 100% secure.

8. Cookie Policy

We use essential cookies for authentication and security, analytics cookies (with your consent) to improve our service, and no advertising or tracking cookies. You can manage cookie preferences through our Cookie Settings panel or your browser settings.

9. Changes to This Policy

We will notify you of material changes to this Privacy Policy via email and a notice on our website at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
